Artisan Consulting Engineers LLC, are experienced water resource engineers. We are very familiar with the State of Illinois Joint Permit Process which pertains to civil works in the State of Illinois with specific relevance to the requirements of the Clean Water Act. This process involves coordination between the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Historical Preservation Agency, the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACOE), the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR).  We have on staff a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) to assist you with projects impacted by floodplains that are regulated under the federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). We also have access to a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) to help ensure project compliance under the National Pollution Discharge Elimination system (NDPES).
